Wines that are produced in all parts of Macedonia are obtained by growing the highest quality grapes and the great effort of all the wineries that wish to be ranked higher in the international market.

Wine production in Macedonia can be divided into 3 main wine regions:
1. Povardarje – Vardar valley (Central Region)
2. Pcinja- Osogovo (Eastern Region)
3. Pelagonisko- Poloski (Western Region)  

Each region has its own vineyards with specific positions. There are 16 vineyards in total.

Povardarie (Vardar Valley) is the largest and the most famous vineyard region where total of 85% of Macedonian wine is produced.
